New Chelsea manager Mauricio Pochettino doesn’t count on Joao Felix for next season and the Portugal international will return to his parent club Atletico Madrid when his loan deal at Chelsea expires this summer.
Reacting to Pochettino’s decision not to keep Felix at Chelsea, former Chelsea defender Frank Leboeuf told ESPN: “Joao Felix is a very talented player, the guy has something. But what he has shown is not sustainable. Maybe he picked the wrong team, but that’s his fault. Don’t pick Chelsea, don’t pick Atletico.
“Christian Pulisic is the same… his nickname is Captain America, I mean… [laughs] come on! He had quite a good start at Chelsea, but after it was so-so. He’s very lucky if he gets a move to Juventus.”
