Stamford Bridge Return? Chelsea ‘Have made move’ to hire 41-year-Old manager to replace Pochettino

Journalist Eleonora Trotta has claimed that Chelsea have made contact with someone they feel could replace Mauricio Pochettino.

Pochettino is a man that is attracting all the wrong kind of headlines as he may not even get his Chelsea side back into a European place after a very disappointing season back in the Premier League.

That has led to alot of speculation in the media that the likes of Roberto Di Zerbi, Ruben Amorim and even Zinedine Zidane could be the next man in to try and take CHELSEA forward in the coming seasons.

However – Thiago Motta is reportedly admired at the club, with him working wonders in Serie A as the manager of Bologna.

Trotta has now claimed that the Blues have actually reached out to the former midfielder, as they seemingly prepare to get rid of their current boss once the season is finally over.

She said: “Thiago Motta to Juventus: in recent days there has been a survey, not in-depth, by Chelsea for the coach of Bologna, who has been in agreement for months with the Bianconeri regarding the new course.”

However – the report has also claimed that Motta has no intention on leaving Bologna at this stage of his career.
