Chelsea appear to have beaten Juventus and Monaco to Aleksandr Golovin’s signature, with reports he’ll have a medical today.
The Russian talent has been the subject of at least two bids by the Bianconeri, while it was confirmed yesterday that Monaco have also made an offer.
Now though calciomeracto.com is citing BBC sources in Russia who state that CSKA Moscow have accepted a bid from Chelsea, who are offering a five-year contract.
Golovin has agreed terms in principle, so a medical could take place as soon as today.
Blues owner Roman Abramovich is Russian, as is his trusted chief executive Marina Granovskaia, so those contacts may well have made the difference for the English club.
What a signing this is gonna be!
