Take the chance and join Chelsea – Eden Hazard tells midfielder to join Chelsea
According to The Express, former Chelsea star Eden Hazard has urged Southampton midfielder Romeo Lavia to join Chelsea this summer.
Chelsea is expected to push for the signing of the 19 year old Belgium midfielder after missing out on the transfer of Manuel Ugarte from Sporting Lisbon.
The Blues saw a bid of £50million for Lavia rejected last summer and are now prepared to reignite their interest in the 19-year-old in the coming weeks.
Following their relegation to the Championship, Southampton are hoping to sell the midfielder this summer for at least £45million.
With Chelsea keen on signing Lavia this summer, Hazard has reportedly encouraged his international teammate to take the chance to join Chelsea if the opportunity arrives.
