Chelsea have reportedly identified Wigan Athletic centre-back, Antonee Robinson, as summer transfer target.
During the closing hours of the winter transfer window, Robinson appeared on course to join Serie A giants AC Milan, only for the defender to run out of time to finalise a medical.
However, The Mirror reports that the ex-Everton starlet may get the opportunity to make a return to the English top-tier later in 2020.
The report claims that the Blues are ready to rival Newcastle United and Aston Villa in the race for the 22-year-old’s services.
Despite the American making 29 starts in the Championship this campaign, Wigan are allegedly ready to cash in on their most prized asset. Robinson has just under two-and-a-half years left on his contract at the DW Stadium.
Meanwhile, Chelsea are set to be offered Spanish playmaker Isco as part of Real Madrid’s plans to lure N’Golo Kante at Santiago Bernabeu. Florentino Perez is eager to use Isco in order to reduce the price for N’Golo Kante
Isco has been strongly linked with a switch to Premier League in the recent years with Chelsea Tottenham Hotspur and Arsenal all have been rumoured with securing his services amid a tough season.
The 27-year-old Spain international playmaker began the 2019/20 season out of Zinedine Zidane’s first-team plans and has only managed to force his way back in the later stage of the campaign and since then has been one of the best players.
