Talks held: Chelsea attacker close to join European giants on a two year deal
According to transfer expert Fabrizio Romano, Italian side AC Milan are in direct talks with the representatives of Chelsea striker Olivier Giroud.
Giroud is expected to leave Chelsea this summer when his contract expires and according to Italian media outlet Calciomercato, Giroud has started house hunting in Milan.
Romano tweeted: “AC Milan are also in direct talks with Olivier Giroud agents – he’s considered a ‘potential opportunity.”
AC Milan will reportedly offer Giroud a two-year contract worth €4million yearly.
