‘That is the good news! Tuchel reveals ahead of Real Madrid clash
Following Chelsea’s 6-0 win over Southampton, Chelsea boss Thomas Tuchel was pleased with his team’s display.
However, This win comes at the back of consecutive defeats to Brentford and Real Madrid.
After the defeat to Madrid, Tuchel seemed to have thrown in the towel about a comeback, but the Blues boss is now optimistic ahead of facing the Champions League record holders following the win against Southampton.
Asked about facing Real in the second leg on the back of a thumping win, Tuchel said: “It is a completely different game and opponent. The situation does not get easy.
“First of all it was necessary to do the job here. That will be a very difficult task and there is no change to it. We did what we wanted and that is the good news.”
