Barcelona ready to sell Chelsea-linked Denis Suarez in January, according to Ed Malyon of The Independent.

Maylon reports that the club’s and Suarez’s representatives held a private meeting this week where the Catalans informed the midfielder’s agent his client is free to leave for a £14m fee in the next transfer window.

It is also reported that the 24-year-old’s entourage have reportedly already offered him to Unai Emery’s Arsenal. The Premier League side are looking for Aaron Ramsey’s replacement who will leave the club next summer as the club refused to offer him a new deal.

In the recent interview to MARCA, Suarez was asked about his future and if he planned to move on:

“I’m only thinking about playing and I’m not at the moment. So obviously I’m not happy if I don’t play and, well, from here until January I want to play as much as possible and then we’ll see. I’m a football player so I’m happy when I’m playing and I’m unhappy when I don’t.”
