‘Those two clubs will always be the biggest clubs’ – Jamie Carragher reveals the two teams that are bigger than Chelsea
It was a big game between two rivals between Chelsea and Liverpool in the Carabao Cup final at Wembley Stadium on Sunday evening.
However, The Reds seem to have gotten back their mojo as they have been winning trophies since Jurgen Klopp’s appointment, and are now rated as one of the best teams in Europe.
After going three decades without a Premier League title, Liverpool were able win the league in 2019.
Klopp has indeed rejuvenated Liverpool, and has won the Premier League, Champions League and most recently, the Carabao Cup at the expense of Chelsea.
Following their victory, Liverpool legend Jamie Carragher has claimed that Chelsea can never be as big as Liverpool.
Jamie Carragher said on Sky Sports: “I think it works because of that rivalry between Manchester and Liverpool will always be there.
“And those two clubs will always be the biggest clubs in the Premier League.
“That will never change however successful Manchester City or Chelsea are or other teams, those will always be the two biggest teams.”
