Todd Boehly at work! as Chelsea announce new sponsorship to replace brand that rejected the club

According to latest reports reaching us, Chelsea have gotten a new sleeve sponsor that’s set to take over from Hyundai next season.

Hyundai were the sleeve sponsors this season but suspended their agreement with the club when the sanctions were imposed on the club and Russian owner Roman Abramovich.

Hyundai’s deal was worth £12.m a year, but a report from The Telegraph claim that WhaleFin, a cryptocurrency group, will replace Hyundai after agreeing the contract that will be worth a lot more than Hyundai’s deal.

The new deal from the new sponsors is said to be worth £20m a year – which dwarfs what Hyundai was raking in.

The agreement with WhaleFin was in place before Todd Boehly and his investors won the bid for Chelsea.

All that’s left is for the UK government and the Premier League to confirm Todd Boehly as the new Chelsea owner, and he’d be able to sign off the agreement.

Following the sanctions on the club, Chelsea’s main shirt sponsors Three also suspended their deal with the club and demanded their logos be removed from Chelsea jerseys and around Stamford Bridge and the training ground.

Chelsea weren’t able to meet the demands of Three due to the sanctions, and with just one year left on their deal with the club, Chelsea will definitely be looking ahead to get a new sponsorship deal to replace Three once the Todd Boehly bid is confirmed.
