Todd Boehly still wants to complete Chelsea signing of 102-goal star this summer – report
According to journalist Simon Phillips, Chelsea may still try to sign star Cristiano Ronaldo before the end of the transfer window.
Recently, there were rumors that Chelsea owner Ted Boehly had met with Ronaldo’s agency to negotiate a potential transfer to Stamford Bridge, but the Man United board quickly denied such claims.
However, those rumors continue to circulate in the media, and some believe that the proper Chelsea offer may persuade Ronaldo to move to London, especially given his desire to play in the Champions League and compete for all the major prizes.
Since Ted Boehly wants to add Ronaldo to the Blues lineup, Phillips has now publicly stated that Chelsea could still make a move for him this summer.
He told GiveMeSport: “I think Ronaldo could come into the conversation again come the end of the window.
“Whether United would let him go or not is another situation, but Boehly wants him, and I think they could talk about him again before the end of the window.”
