According to latest reports, Chelsea boss Thomas Tuchel has reportedly given Chelsea the greenlight to sign 23 year old RB Leipzig midfielder Christopher Nkunku.
Nkunku has scored nine goals in just ten games in all competitions this season, including a scintillating hat-trick during the 6-3 Champions League loss at the hands of Manchester City.
The 23 year old winger has finally spoken for the first time about Chelsea’s interest in signing him.
“If I thought of other clubs, we could forget our goals for the season right away,” he told BILD.
“Big goals of our own are only realistic if we achieve something with Leipzig. Otherwise these questions will not arise.
“I still have a contract until 2024 and I feel very comfortable in Leipzig.”
