Tuchel message to Chelsea fans ahead of Leicester clash, as Dortmund tells Tuchel where £100 million Chelsea target will be next season

The pain of the FA Cup final defeat to Leicester City may not be forgotten in a hurry, but there’s still a lot to play for this season.

Chelsea play Leicester City again on Tuesday night, in a Premier League clash at Stamford Bridge, and this time around, anything short of a win could be disastrous for the Blues.

Chelsea are two points behind Leicester City, and a win will take the Blues up to third as the fight for top four reaches fever pitch, and will definitely go on to the last day.

Chelsea boss Thomas Tuchel has revealed that he’s happy to have fans back for this game and admitted that it will help the momentum at Stamford Bridge.

Tuchel said ahead of the game: “We had some matches where we struggled a bit with momentum and I had the feeling that their support could help.

“This could be crucial to our team so having the fans back is fantastic. I hope they come in the right moment to help us secure this last win at Stamford Bridge this season.

“Normally it’s an advantage and to have 8,000 fans feels amazing that it’s possible. It’s absolutely a step in the right direction and we hope that it’s the extra percentage of support that helps us to win tomorrow.”

Dortmund tells Tuchel where £100 million Chelsea target Haaland will be next season

Borussia Dortmund have reiterated their transfer stance on Chelsea target Erling Haaland: he will not leave the club this summer.

Chelsea have one of the very best squads in the Premier League and have quality all over the pitch, but Thomas Tuchel is a man that knows he needs to add a proven striker to the attack in order to win some big trophies next season.

And that has led to constant speculation in the media that the Chelsea boss is very keen on landing the services of Haaland, who is one of the most deadly and sought after players in world football right now

However, in the aftermath of Dortmund securing Champions League football next season, sporting director Michael Zorc has once again stated that Haaland is not for sale.

Speaking to Sky, Zorc simply said: “He will play for us next season.”

The 20-year-old Norway international has, indeed, enjoyed a remarkable season. In 40 matches in all competitions, he has scored 39 goals and created another 12.

Chelsea are a club that is able to offer silly money and give him the kind of wages that he would demand, so even though Dortmund have a desire to keep hold of Haaland in the transfer window, the right offer will get a deal done.

It will come down to the player himself and if he wants to actually leave a club that he is flourishing at right now, we would love to see him in the Premier League, but we would also understand if he decided to stay for another season.
