Chelsea set to host Burnley on Saturday afternoon, and the visitor will be without two of their key players.

Burnley manager Sean Dyche has confirmed that striker Ashley Barnes and winger Johann Berg Gudmundsson will both be unavailable for this weekend’s game.

“He has been trying to get through a period with an over-use injury, so that will get checked out,” Dyche said of Barnes.

“He’s been soldiering on with it, but it has really affected him in the last few games.

“I had a chat with him and said he’s put his lot in for us and tried to carry on, but we have got to get to the bottom of it.” Meanwhile, Dyche also revealed that although Johann Berg Gudmundsson’s injury isn’t too serious, he’d be unavailable for Chelsea clash.

“The good news is that it’s not as serious as it could have been,” said Dyche, speaking of Gudmundsson’s hamstring problem.

“It should settle down quickly.”
