‘Unsung hero for Chelsea’: Jason Cundy amaze by what Chelsea man did in Chelsea last minute victory over Brighton

What a game at Stamford Bridge this afternoon as the Blues cruise to 3-2 win over Brighton.

However, in the intense match Jason Cundy as single out one Chelsea man for praise after stunning performance in Chelsea big win over Brighton.

Jason Cundy praise Chelsea’s Robert Sanchez for what he did during today’s win against Brighton.

The Blues recorded a dramatic 3-2 victory on Sunday afternoon at home to Brighton, which earned them a much-needed three points in the Premier League.

Enzo Fernandez (two) and Levi Colwill scored the vital goals for the hosts at Stamford Bridge. However, Mauricio Pochettino’s side played with a man less for 45 minutes because of Conor Gallagher’s red card on the stroke of half-time.

Robert Sanchez unsung hero for winning goal.

Fernandez’s penalty midway through the second-half, which put Chelsea 3-1 in front at the time, turned out to be the winner

It was a counter-attack started by Blues goalkeeper Robert Sanchez that led to James Milner fouling Mykhailo Mudryk for the spot-kick.

The £25million keeper (Sky Sports) has earned his flowers for his role in the winner.

Cundy said after the match:

“Can we please give Robert Sanchez a huge amount of kudos for that goal. He was the one that came and claimed it (the corner). I felt that perhaps he should hold it. No. He rolls the ball out to Raheem Sterling, who in turn gives the ball to [Nicolas] Jackson, who then puts it to Mudryk, and then it ends up with the penalty. That has come from bright and intelligent play from Robert Sanchez.”
