Chelsea legend John Terry has been pictured back at the club’s training ground in full training gear in an attempt to keep fit through the summer.
Terry left the club in the summer of 2017 on the back of a Premier League title-triumph. It’s the way that he deserved to go out, a champion. He’s one of the greatest players to ever pull on the Chelsea shirt, as well as one of the best defenders in football history.
He spent last season attempting to lead Aston Villa to promotion back to the Premier League. They fell devastatingly short, losing the play-off final to Fulham. Terry subsequently opted against renewing his contract with the EFL Championship side.
What the future holds for the former England captain remains to be seen, but he appears keen to stay in shape while he makes his mind up. Our Cobham training ground is familiar territory for him, and the club have allowed him to train there through the summer.
It’s great to see him back in Chelsea gear!
