(VIDEO): Kepa receives free beer for conceding against Lionel Messi
Beer company Budweiser have decided to honour Barcelona star Leo Messi’s all-time goalscoring record in a very different way.
The beer company sent 644 custom bottles of beer to every goalkeeper that Messi has scored against.
Messi only recently netted his 644th goal in Barcelona’s 3-0 victory against Real Valladolid on Tuesday. The 33-year-old beat Pele’s long-standing record of 643 goals scored for a single club.
Budweiser decided to honour Messi by sending the beers to every goalkeeper he scored against.
Chelsea’s second choice goalkeeper Kepa Arrizabalaga was also among the goalkeepers to have taken a free Budweiser beer for conceding against Lionel Messi.
