Why Conte taking over Real Madrid could be good news for Chelsea

Conte is lined up to become the next Real Madrid manager as Julen Lopetegui struggles continue

If the Italian becomes a new head coach, Hazard chances to sign a new contract at Stamford Bridge will increase

Chelsea are set to offer him a new deal soon after Conte is announced as a new Real Madrid manager

The ex-Blues head coach is claimed to be in London to settle his dispute with the former club over a payout

According to Belgian journalist Kristof Terreur, Antonio Conte’s appointment at Real Madrid could boost Hazard chances to sign a new deal with the Blues.

He claims if that move happens, the Chelsea forward will be likely to extend his current as he had strained relations with the ex-manager at Stamford Bridge.

He adds that the club plan to use this opportunity to convince their star to put on paper under a new deal.

Moreover, Italian source Tuttomercatosport have reported on Monday that Conte is currently in London to ‘resolve his bureaucratic issues’ with Chelsea over a €10.8m payout, having been sacked in summer.

Eden has repeatedly expressed his desire to join the Spanish giants, saying that moving to Santiago Bernabeu is one his dreams. However, Real Madrid reportedly have different transfer priorities, with Neymar being named as a top target.

According to one of the Spanish top sources Onda Cero, The Blues’ ex-manager Antonio Conte will replace Julen Lopetegui as the head coach of Real Madrid soon. Los Blancos’ interest in the Italian has emerged in Septemeber after the club’s unsatisfactory results both in La Liga and in the Champions League.

One of the main reasons for Lopetegui’s dismissal may become the huge defeat in recent El Clasico. Thibaut Courtois, Chelsea’s former goalkeeper who left the club in late August conceded five goals and didn’t help his team to get at least a draw. Real Madrid are currently 9th in La Liga and can’t win in their last five matches.
