Timo Werner’s team-mate has declared the forward ready to play for any top club in Europe, BUT IS HE READY FOR CHELSEA?

Olivier Giroud has been in the headlines for all the wrong reasons over the past few months as he has shown his unhappiness at not being first choice at Stamford Bridge, with Frank Lampard even admitting that he could have let the Frenchman leave the club in the winter window, if he keeps pushing for an exit.

And German striker Werner, is rated as one of the hottest prospects in Europe, with reports in the media all suggesting that he is seeking that big move to further develop his name in the game, with a host of top clubs linked with a possible move.

The German is one of the top scorers in Europe this season with 26 goals in all competitions, and is tipped to become one of the most deadly strikers in the game, with many believing that Lampard is a massive fan of the talented young German and firmly believes he could add something to the side.

Chelsea failed to get their transfer business done in the January window but have already kicked off the summer window with the signing of Hakim Ziyech, who will officially arrive at Chelsea when the transfer window officially opens up, and they will surely try to nail down the services of Werner.

Now amid all the speculation, RB Leipzig star Tyler Adams hailed his team-mate and predicted he would slot into any team in the world, he told ESPN: ‘It’s hard to say one thing.

‘People are often focused not just on his goalscoring ability but how fast he is, he’s absolutely rapid. There’s just so many roles you can fit him in, that’s what makes him such a unique piece. ‘If you’re able to score in that many different ways, you’ll be able to play at the highest level for a really long time, [for] the biggest clubs in the world, the national team.

‘He’s a pleasure to play with. It makes it easy playing as a midfielder knowing you can play the ball over the top and he’ll catch it no matter what. He’s a great guy and a great player.’

Werner is definately destined for big things and it will be very interesting to see just where he ends up in the coming windows, and it wouldnt be a shock to see him arrive at Stamford Bridge. Chelsea need a striker like him to come in and help Abraham out, and for the kind of money that he is going for, how could fans not want to see him signed?
