Willian: I won’t hesitate to humiliate David Luiz, ‘If I have to nutmeg him, I will’

Willian will not hesitate if he has to nutmeg his friend David Luiz in the London derby which is scheduled for 29 December.

The two Brazilians have been close pals long before Willian joined the Blues in 2013. However, personal loyalties will mean nothing when they face each other next time, the winger assures.

“I’ve faced him a few times, he for Chelsea, me for Shakhtar, me for Chelsea, he for PSG,” Willian explained to Globo Esporte.

“Now it’s he for Arsenal. He’s a brother that I have, we met at the age of eight.

“But on the pitch… there’s no way. If I have to nutmeg him, I will.”

David Luiz left Chelsea on the deadline day of this summer’s transfer window after reportedly falling out with Frank Lampard.

On the other hand, Willian has no problems working under his former teammate:

Later, the centre-back hinted that he was not pleased with the amount of playing time the manager was prepared to give him.

As for Willian, he has recently confirmed that he would be happy to stay at Chelsea beyond his current deal that expires in June 2020.
