World class Dutch-man set to leave club for Chelsea on one condition

Barcelona is a mystery club at the moment, and a lot of strange things are happening there depending on the club’s money, or lack thereof.

Using these “financial levers” that they constantly pulling out, they seem to be able to continue signing players even if they are still heavily in debt. Likewise referred to as “magic money” or “money trees.” Everything about the situation just seems wrong.

Meanwhile, Frenkie De Jong, a midfielder, is caught in the thick of it all, and reports claim the team wants him to accept a pay cut in order to stay. It’s insane when teams sign high-paid athletes while still owing millions of dollars.

However, Chelsea could benefit here, because according to Sport, as cited by Sport Witness today, De Jong would only leave Barcelona to join Chelsea rather than Manchester United.

They claim that everything is in Chelsea’s hands for De Jong’s future right now.
