The Blues have completed the signing of Hakim Ziyech from Ajax since February, and the Moroccan international will join Chelsea at the end of the season.
Ziyech signed for Ajax from FC Twente in August 2016 in an €11m move, and the 27-year-old has been sensational for the Dutch giants.
Meanwhile, Boudewijn Pahlplatz, who worked with Hakim Ziyech at Twente, has backed Ziyech to do well in the Premier League, but warned that he must get used to the physical side of the league.
“He has played in the Eredivisie for seven or eight years now and knows all about Holland,” Pahlplatz told Sky Sports.
“The step to the Premier League will do him good. He will be playing with the best players every day and that is a new challenge for him. I think he will do well there.
“He will have to get used to the amount of games and the physical side but in the end, he will succeed, for sure.”
