4 Real Madrid players to miss Chelsea clash?, Spanish club to sell £52million player to Chelsea, as Blues could sign free agent Spanish winger this summer

According to reports from Spain, Chelsea have an advantage over Premier League rivals Manchester United in the race for Sevilla defender Jules Kounde.

This is because Sevilla have an interest in signing Chelsea midfielder Hakim Ziyech.

According to Spanish media outlet El Gol Digital, Sevilla are prepared to reduce Kounde’s asking price by 50 per cent if the Blues are willing to include the Morocco international as part of the deal.

Sevilla are looking for a £52m transfer fee for Kounde but would be happy to let the 22 year old defender join Chelsea for just £26million if Ziyech is included in the deal.

Should Chelsea include Ziyech in a swap deal for Sevilla’s Kounde?

4 Real Madrid players to miss Chelsea clash?

Real Madrid manager Zinedine Zidane will have to do without four of his players, as they make a very rare visit to Stamford Bridge for the second leg of the Champions League semi-final tie.

Four Real Madrid players did not take part in Monday training sessions ahead of their trip to Stamford Bridge. The four players are Raphael Varane, Lucas Vazquez, Dani Carvajal, and Federico Valverde.

Sergio Ramos and Ferland Mendy have returned to training, and Zidane is very keen for Ramos to make a return to face Chelsea. Ramos and Mendy took part in light sessions and might be able to feature in the second leg.

For Chelsea, Blues boss Thomas Tuchel may only be without Mateo Kovacic.

Meanwhile, Chelsea manager Thomas Tuchel has revealed he will frustrate Real Madrid captain Sergio Ramos during the second leg of our Champions League semi-final by giving him no-one to “fight” with.

Tuchel told Chelsea’s official website: “If we play with no striker at all and Ramos has nothing to fight then that can also be a solution. I have not made my mind up yet.

“It’s another challenge because he is the leader of their group and he is the guy to give a lot of solutions to any questions that we will hopefully ask them.

“We will wait and see who is in good shape and good form, what shape we play and where we try to hurt them.

“I’m not too sure if they will play again with five or go back to four [in defence] so there are many questions but we don’t need the answers now. It’s enough if we have them on Wednesday.”

Chelsea could sign free agent Spanish winger this summer

Chelsea and Manchester United are reportedly among the top European teams ready to do battle for the services of Lucas Vazquez who will be a free agent in the summer.

The versatile Spanish winger is out of contract at the Los Blancos this summer, and he is believed to have turned down Real Madrid’s offers of a new contract, so an imminent exit is expected.

Arsenal and Tottenham have already been rumoured with a move for Lucas Vazquez, however, it appears that the North London giants will not be the only teams pining for his services in the upcoming transfer window.

According to ABC, Chelsea and Man Utd have now joined the race and are prepared to offer Lucas Vazquez a four-year contract, while Bayern Munich also consider him as a possible addition in the summer.

The report adds that the Spaniard who has managed to won the three Champions League trophies during at Real Madrid is expected a pay rise in his new Los Blancos contract, however, the La Liga champions insisted he take a 10% pay cut amid the coronavirus pandemic, and most of his suitors would be able to offer him more than the €3.5m (£2.98m).

Vazquez boasts two goals and five assists from 22 games in La Liga this campaign, and Zinedine Zidane has reportedly identified Levante’s Jorge de Frutos as a perfect replacement.
