Abramovich gives Tuchel green light for £105m Chelsea deal to happen after latest decision

Fresh reports have claimed that Roman Abramovich has given the green light for Chelsea to sign Romelu Lukaku in the summer window.

With the likes of Timo Werner, Tammy Abraham and Olivier Giroud all failing to impress in front of goal this season, It is pretty clear that the German coach wants to add a premium striker to the attack.

Erling Haaland has been the name most linked with a move to Stamford Bridge as the young man has become one of the most sought after players in world football, but the club will face strong competition from several rivals across Europe including Real Madrid and Manchester City.

And according to recent reports, Chelsea now view Lukaku as the ‘most achievable’ target for the upcoming window and are now accelerating plans to re-sign the Belgium international

Now the Daily Express website has claimed that Abramovic has given his full backing to Tuchel to bring Lukaku to the Premier League in the summer, even at that massive £105 million asking price

Chelsea wanted to re-sign Lukaku in 2017 when they were managed by the now Inter boss Antonio Conte, But United snuck in at the last minute to seal a deal for the striker, but now that Abramovic wants that Premier League title back, he is ready to pay the big money to get a deal done.

Inconclusion:

If the reports are true and Abramovic has given the green light for a deal to happen, Lukaku is a man that would be a very good signing for the club.

However, there is a massive BUT! The Belgian is very happy at Inter and they have no intention of selling, so despite all the rumours, we would be very shocked to see him back at Chelsea next season.
