“Am here now, I want him to stay”- Tuchel reveals the Chelsea player he loves to work with

Chelsea defender Antonio Rudiger was at one time phased out of the Chelsea team under Frank Lampard this season, and the German international was already being linked with a move away from the club.

Reports at the time was linking PSG with a move for Rudiger, and it was Thomas Tuchel who was in charge of the French club at the time.

Following his dismissal from Paris last month, talks about a likely transfer from Chelsea to PSG for Rudiger died down.

Rudiger slowly won his place back into Frank Lampard’s team, before the 42-year-old club legend was dismissed.

Reports have now revealed that Tuchel had contacted Rudiger to stay put at Chelsea, as he was set to be appointed as the new manager.

Sky Germany has claimed that Rudiger is set to remain at the club under Tuchel, with the German boss having been tasked with getting the best out of German duo Kai Havertz and Timo Werner.
