Big clash: Chelsea vs Everton! Michael Owen predicts the winner
Chelsea will play host to Everton at Stamford Bridge on Monday night, as the race for top four gets more intense.
Chelsea and Everton are 4th and 5th in the league respectively, but the Toffees have the advantage, as they have a game in hand are just a point behind Thomas Tuchel’s side.
A win will be the best bet for Chelsea, in order so stake a claim on 4th place at least, and Michael Owen is predicting a tight contest at Stamford Bridge against the Merseyside club.
Owen has predicted a 1-0 victory as he told BetVictor: “Chelsea fans really couldn’t have asked for a better start to the Thomas Tuchel era. With UEFA Champions League qualification well within their grasp, along with a win at Anfield, the players confidence must be sky-high going into this.
“However, Everton will pose just as difficult a challenge as anyone. The Toffees have been great this season, and if they were just slightly more consistent, who knows where they’d be. This should be a great game.
“Tuchel v Ancelotti is a fascinating battle, and I think it’s bound to be tight. With that in mind, I think Chelsea will just edge it by the slenderest of margins.”
