Blues boss Thomas Tuchel tells Chelsea board to step up chase to sign departing PSG midfielder for free

Kays Ruiz-Atil is set to leave PSG at the end of the season when his contract expires, with reports Thomas Tuchel has told Chelsea to make their move.

Ruiz-Atil has seven senior appearances to his name this season, all coming when Tuchel was in charge, as the German firmly believed that the talent has the quality to have a big future in the game.

However, Since Mauricio Pochettino replaced the German as manager, Ruiz-Atil has fallen out of favour, and The 18-year-old has been demoted to the club’s under-19 squad, where It seems likely he will be leaving PSG at the end of the season.

His contract is due to expire in June, and according to according to Foot Mercato. he will not look to leave the French giants at the end of the season when his contract expires.

PSG have been unable to come to terms with the highly rated 18-year-old, and the reports suggest that Tuchel has told the Chelsea board to keep a close eye on the situation over at PSG, and has even told the club to ramp up their interest in Ruiz-Atil

Ruiz-Atil has a strong relationship with Pochettino’s predecessor, Thomas Tuchel who is now in charge at Chelsea and would be keen on bringing the midfielder to Stamford Bridge.

We have not seen much of Rui-Atil, simply because we do not watch the reserve games, but Tuchel knows the lad, and if the reports are true, he could get that massive move to the Premier League.

PSG clearly want to keep the lad, but they cant persuade him to sign a contract, so when he does leave, it would not be a surprise to see him make that move to link-up with Tuchel at Chelsea.
