Blues owner Roman Abramovich to sign €75million player for Thomas Tuchel this summer
Chelsea owner Roman Abramovich has been impressed with Chelsea’s improvement under Thomas Tuchel and is set to back the German tactician during the summer transfer window.
According to Daily Express, Abramovich will go all out to try and sign Borussia Dortmund striker Erling Haaland this summer.
Despite spending over £200million on new players last summer, Abramovich is set to spend more money this summer as he wants the Blues to challenge for the title next season.
Haaland has a release clause of just €75m but that will not be activated until the summer of 2022.
However, Chelsea are ready to leapfrog other clubs interested in signing Haaland by offering more than his release clause to sign him this summer.
