Borussia Dortmund manager admits two key Chelsea targets can leave in summer

Chelsea might not be done in the transfer market, even after the signing of Hakim Ziyech and Timo Werner.

The Blues is still being linked with Borussia Dortmund’s Jadon Sancho and Achraf Hakimi, and Chelsea owner Roman Abramovich is believed to be keen on backing Blues boss Frank Lampard.

Borussia Dortmund boss, Lucien Favre, has now admitted he’s as in the dark over the future of his star man, Jadon Sancho, as the rest of us are.

Speaking recently about the Englishman’s future, the coach said he wishes the 20-year-old stays beyond the current campaign, although he can’t say for sure whether that will be the case.

He said: “We’ll see after the season. Of course, players will leave. We hope the players will stay, but it is possible that players will leave.

“You have already mentioned two [Archaf Hakimi and Sancho] that we don’t definitely know about. Of course, they could stay with us, which would be very good for me. But we’ll see what we’ll do, whether it’s in defence, midfield or attack.”

Dortmund reportedly value Jadon Sancho at an outrageous £115 million, which has been described as ‘impossible’ by football transfer experts, considering the impact of coronavirus on football’s economy.
