“Better we act fast and get him” “One of the best manager in the world” – Chelsea fans discuss Chelsea interest in bringing in Portuguese manager to replace Pochettino

The Daily Mail claims that Chelsea has “long-term admiration” for Sporting Lisbon head coach Ruben Amorim.

After the Blues’ 5-0 loss to Arsenal on Tuesday night, Mauricio Pochettino’s future has come under more and more scrutiny. Many X fans would support Amorim’s appointment as manager because they are tired with the current one. Some even suggested that the club should hire Amorim right away because other teams are interested in him:

Amorim has been connected to two other Premier League positions.
The 39-year-old was the front-runner to succeed Jurgen Klopp at Liverpool for a few weeks, but after initiating negotiations with the Dutchman and his organization, the Reds have now declared Feyenoord manager Arne Slot their top choice.

It is believed that West Ham have also held face-to-face talks with Amorim but the Portuguese manager is said to be unenthusiastic about taking the job at the London Stadium.

Chelsea are considering other candidates
The Mail claim that Brighton’s Roberto De Zerbi could also come under consideration if Pochettino is sacked. The Italian is reportedly open to leaving the Seagulls at the end of the season.

However, after their experience with Graham Potter, it remains to be seen whether Chelsea would consider appointing another head coach from the south coast club.
