BREAKING: Willian to announce deal in coming days

The future of Chelsea’s Brazilian winger, Willian, has been uncertain since the start of the season, but it appears that the Blues have resigned to losing the 31-year-old winger.

Willian has been unable to reach agreement with Chelsea over fresh terms because he wants a three year deal while the Blues are only willing to offer him a two year deal.

This has lingered for many months now but to no avail, and Willian is now set to leave the club. In fact, reports have it that a deal is already in place for the Brazilian.

According to ESPN Brasil, Arsenal have offered Willian a contract and they hope to announce his signing in the coming days.

Willian will now join the latest trend of Chelsea players to make the move to bitter rivals Arsenal, with Petr Cech and David Luiz the recent players to have made similar move.

Chelsea boss Frank Lampard has resigned to losing his star man as he told reporters: “It is his decision.

“I have not got that answer. I know the situation from the club’s end. I have a great relationship with Willian. I actually do not know what that decision is.
