Chelsea announcement on way after player agree’s four-year Stamford Bridge move

According to reports, Chelsea are closing in on the signing of defender and Arsenal target Malang Sarr after the Frenchman agreed a four-year deal with the Blues.

With Mikel Arteta seeking to improve a number of key areas of the pitch this summer transfer window, there has been alot of speculation in the media that he wants to spend some serious money to acquire the services of some new players.

And according to recent reports on Football.London, The Gunners hope to beat a number of Ligue 1 and Bundesliga to the signing of the 21-year-old, who left Nice at the end of his contract this summer.

However, it seemed that Chelsea were also seeking to hijack any possible deal for the lad as it has been claimed on the SUN website that the Blues opened talks to get the lad signed up, with reports a three-year contract offer could be on the table

Frank Lampard is looking to put together a squad that can challenge both Liverpool and Manchester City and knows that he needs to add a bit more depth to the squad, as he is short in some areas of the pitch.

Now it appears that Chelsea have won the race for his signature with Telefoot reporting via Get French Football that the defender has agreed personal terms with the Blues over a four-year deal at Stamford Bridge

It is a bigger contract that what was first reported in the media and one that will shock fans, as Chelsea were only linked with a move for the talented player just a few days ago.

Look, Sarr is a very good player that will come to Chelsea and add something to that back-line, but he will have to work hard to get into this team because he cant just expect to walk straight into the first team.
