Chelsea has to raise pay to €4M if they want to land striker in summer

Dries Mertens asked for a wage hike of €1m from napoli. Chelsea might face the same issue if they want to sign Mertens.

The Belgian winger Dries Mertens is getting ready for a transfer bids by the reopening of the suspended football market. Mertens become a free agent as per the contract expiry this season. The player is enjoying the conditions in San Paolo. He demands a salary hike of €1 million to stay on the Italian side.

SSC Napoli is placed 6th in the league table and the most affected Italy didn’t announce any reopening of the season.
