Brazil number one Alisson Becker has waved goodbye to Roma fans ahead of the completion of his £62M move to Liverpool.
This one’s hard to stomach. Alisson was quite clearly our number one target in the event that Thibaut Courtois joined Real Madrid.
Courtois’ switch to the Santiago Bernabeu appears close to completion, with Alisson heading to Anfield.
Chelsea need to identify an equally suitable target. Though, we’re not sure there is one. Alisson is excellent with his hands and his feet.
Maurizio Sarri’s loss is very much Jurgen Klopp’s gain. Amid reports that Alisson is Liverpool bound, he said his goodbyes to the Roma faithful.
Alisson said to ForzaRoma ahead of a flight from Ciampino Airport to England:
“I want say thanks to Roma fans. Now it’s time for a new adventure.”
Gianluigi Donnarumma is a name that has been mentioned. Though, it’s unlikely Chelsea would be willing to deal with Mino Raiola after the Romelu Lukaku saga.
We’ll just have to wait and see what the club have up their sleeve…
