Felix has been heavily linked with a move to Chelsea after reports identified him as Maurizio Sarri’s ‘dream signing’.

Benfica have been keen to get the player’s long-term future secured amid growing interest around the continent.

Some of Europe’s biggest teams are interested in signing the player, who is widely regarded as Benfica’s best young prospect.

Felix has been ever present in the first-team squad this season.

Interest in Felix is only likely to grow in the coming months, but Benfica will be boosted by the news that any potential suitors will be forced into forking out huge sums of money for his services.
