CONFIRMED: Chelsea player to leave club in the next 24 hours

Chelsea boss Frank Lampard has confirmed that Fikayo Tomori is set for a spell away from the club this January, due to a lack of play time.

The Chelsea academy product has been strongly linked with a move to Italian giants AC Milan, and according to reports from Italy, AC Milan are set to sign an agreement over Fikayo Tomori’s loan deal on Tuesday.

Transfer expert Fabrizio Romano has moved to confirm that the deal could be sealed as soon as in 24 hours.

The deal is rumoured to be a 6-month loan, with a €30m buyout option included in the deal.

Tomori is expected to undergo medicals soon with the Serie A giants who are fighting for the Serie A title.

Tomori made a 7-minute cameo against Morecambe in what was his first appearance since September, thus prompting an exit, and it’s not clear whether Chelsea will be able to keep the 23-year-old for the long term.
