Despite Kepa performance against Liverpool, Chelsea preparing bid for this talented goalkeeper

According to Daily Express, Chelsea are considering the pursuit of Ugurcan Cakir as the Blues line up a replacement for Kepa Arrizabalaga.

The Trabzonspor goalkeeper is said to be a target of Liverpool but the Blues are keen on signing the 23 year old goalkeeper this summer.

Arrizabalaga has fallen out of favour under Frank Lampard in recent weeks but the Spaniard impressed on his return to the starting XI in the 2-0 win over Liverpool.

Despite his impressive performance against Liverpool, the Blues are reportedly still interested in signing a goalkeeper this summer.

The report claims the Trabzonspor goalkeeper has caught the eye of Lampard after his excellent form this season, with his club a point off the summit of the Super Lig with a game in hand over Istanbul Basaksehir.

Former Chelsea coach Eddie Newton, now assistant manager at Trabzonspor, has been reportedly passing information about Cakir to Chelsea.
