According to Todofichajes, Leicester City left-back Ben Chilwell has told his agent that he wants a move to Chelsea. The Spanish website claims that even though the defender is keen on a switch, the Blues are facing a fierce battle for his signature.
As well as Manchester City, whose interest has been known for a while, European giants Paris Saint-Germain and Atletico Madrid are also interested in the England international.
With such competition, Chilwell’s asking price is likely to be very high, and Chelsea have apparently been considering potential alternatives if they can’t afford the 23-year-old.
Porto’s Alex Telles, Atalanta’s Robin Gosens, FC Basel’s Blas Riveros and even Aston Villa’s Matt Targett have been mentioned as possible options.
However, there appears to be no doubt who manager Frank Lampard’s first choice would be. Chilwell has been excellent for Leicester this campaign, scoring two goals and providing four assists in 28 appearances. But PSG And Atletico Are Now Involved
