Great News! Chelsea ‘have submitted offer’ to bring impressive striker to Stamford Bridge

According to Metz-based newspaper Le Republicain Lorrain, Chelsea reportedly submitted an offer to sign Habib Diallo this month

However, Giroud has been in the headlines for all the wrong reasons over the past few months as he has shown his unhappiness at not being first choice at Stamford Bridge, with Lampard even admitting that he could let the Frenchman leave the club in the winter window, if he keeps pushing for an exit.

And reports have linked Chelsea with a whole host of players over the last few weeks, with reports suggesting that Chelsea are now interested in trying to acquire the services of Diallo, who has attracted interest from the Premier League after becoming the Ligue Ones top score this season.

Metz have been struggling this season and are only outside the relegation play-off place in Ligue 1 on goal difference but Diallo has been the team’s star performer with 10 goals so far. But Metz boss Vincent Hognon RECENTLY dismissed the notion that Ligue 1’s top scorer is for sale, telling L’Equipe: “I have never been told about the departure of Habib Diallo this winter.

“All the technical staff had insisted that we extend [his contract]. We absolutely wanted to keep him. “And we were not mistaken. He will still score goals for us. If Habib is to be let go, that really would not be a good signal to send. No, no … he will stay!”

Abraham has been brilliant but he cannot keep up the level of performances he has been for Chelsea throughout the whole campaign, especially with all the games that the Blues will probably feature in this season, but Diallo would not be the move to make.

Lampard will have a ton of money to play with and could probably sign a number of world class players, so even though Diallo has been impressing this season, CHELSEAshould leave him for the likes of Newcastle, Arsenal and Everton to snap up.
