Hazard sends massive message to Chelsea, Blues to sign £90million player after latest Tuchel decision, as Chelsea in advanced talks with 18-year-old Ligue 1 rising star

Eden Hazard has admitted he wasn’t surprised that Chelsea caused Real Madrid several problems on Tuesday night.

The Blues played out a 1-1 draw against Real Madrid in Spain on Tuesday night.

“They have good players. I know all of them, almost, so I’m not surprised,” Hazard explained when asked by CBS Sports whether he expected Tuchel’s side to cause Real Madrid problems.

“They have good players, they can play football. But we knew it, we prepared the game for that. And I think with a bit more luck, we could have scored more goals, but them as well.

“We have big players on the team and big players can always produce something. So we have the mentality to win everything. So like I said just before now we have another game, second leg over there. We’ll have to push to win the game.”

According to reports, Chelsea are stepping up their transfer plans this summer to bring Romelu Lukaku back to the club.

Thomas Tuchel and Chelsea are keen on bringing a new centre-forward to the club this summer with Lukaku one of the options identified.

Borussia Dortmund’s Erling Haaland and Sergio Aguero who will leave Manchester City at the end of the season have both been linked.

Aguero looks close to joining Barcelona according to reports, while the Sun claim Chelsea have accepted defeat in trying to sign Haaland.

As per the Sun’s report, they now claim Chelsea will ‘step up plans’ to re-sign Lukaku in a £90 million-plus deal.

Lukaku is seen as the ‘most achievable’ striking option for the Blues this summer which could see him return to west London after being sold back in 2014.

Chelsea ‘believe they need a strong centre-forward to lead the team next season’.

Lukkau, 27, has netted 27 goals for Inter this season and Chelsea now want him to lead the line for them for the 2021/22 campaign as they look to challenge for the Premier League title.

Olivier Giroud is expected to leave the club at the end of the season when his deal expires.

While the Blues are reportedly willing to listen to offers for outcast Tammy Abraham as his future remains uncertain despite being the club’s top scorer this season. They will look for a fee in the region of £40 million if they are to part ways with the 23-year-old.

Chelsea in advanced talks with 18-year-old Ligue 1 rising star

The London giants are well-positioned to clinch the signing of PSG starlet Kays Ruiz-Atil, who is also being pursued by Barcelona. U19 France international has been with the Parisians since 2015, whom he joined after a six-year stint at Blaugrana’s famed La Masia youth academy.

Having risen through the ranks at PSG, Kays broke into the first team this campaign under ex-coach Thomas Tuchel, going on to play seven games. However, Ruiz-Atil has been frozen out of the first-team picture since the turn of the year after he and the Parisians failed to come to an agreement over a new deal.

Currently training with the reserves, the 18-year-old teenager will his existing deal run out at the end of the ongoing campaign and is all set for a free transfer when that happens. This has prompted interest from several teams around Europe, with the London giants among those looking to snap up the French midfielder.

The London giants have always shown propensity to sign up talented teenagers from across Europe and while those players were usually farmed out on loan season after campaign until they eventually left the club, things have changed over the past couple of years.

The likes of Mason Mount, Reece James, Tammy Abraham have all gone on to successfully make the grade from the academy to the first-team while the likes of Billy Gilmour, Tino Anjorin are some more among many others waiting in the wings to make a splash.

So, the interest in Kays shouldn’t come as a surprise considering his talent and the fact that current boss Tuchel has seen it first-hand and gave him his debut at PSG.
