“I want to show that killer instinct” – Chelsea player ready to take big step up

Chelsea have made some amazing signings and some players are also ready to sold or loaned out.

However, Given Armando Broja wasn’t even playing in the top youth side a year ago, his rise has truly been remarkable.

By the end of last season he was banging them in on all fronts, to the extent that he earned himself a senior loan this season, to feeder club Vitesse Arnhem.

That will be a major step up for the 18 year old, but he’s determined to play and to score, and he revealed in an interview in the Gelderlander today.

He’s already scored in a reserves game for them, and came on as a sub in their first league game of the season at the weekend. As he says, he had a limited preseason, and will need time to adapt in that regard as well as adapting to senior football.

He says he wants to find the “killer instinct” that helped him score 30 last season – if he’s given the chance to play, we wouldn’t bet against it.
