Jurgen Klopp ‘highlights’ 3 strong reasons why Chelsea are favourites to win the title this season
The Blues make a stunning comeback after Leeds take the lead at Stamford Bridge as the Blues win by 3goals to 1, goals from Giroud, Zouma and Pulisic push the Blues to the top of the league.
However, Liverpool Boss Jurgen Kloop has gives 3 reasons why Chelsea are favourites to win the league this season.
Klopp said:- “I don’t feel in the moment that we [Liverpool FC] chase anybody or somebody chases us,” Jurgen Klopp told Liverpool’s official website.
“If I watch football games then I see that Tottenham is obviously doing pretty well, that Chelsea for me in the moment looks like the favourite – bigger squad, great players, play football.
“Now they are full in and have unbelievable opportunities to change between the games and from one game to the other. That’s it.
“You watch it but we don’t chase them. We play them when we play them and that was how we saw it last year as well. The pressure is there but it’s about yourself.”
Chelsea have momentarily gone on top of the league after beating Leeds 3-1 at home on Saturday evening.
It’s fantastic to see rival coaches acknowledge the progress Frank Lampard has made at Chelsea, especially when it’s one of the club’s main rivals this season.
