Lampard provides massive injury update on Thiago Silva after Sevilla game
Chelsea defender Thiago Silva suffered a knock late in the game during Chelsea’s goalless draw in our Champions League game against Sevilla on Tuesday night at Stamford Bridge.
The centre-back landed awkwardly in the second half but still finished the game.
Chelsea boss Frank Lampard has downplayed Silva’s injury concerns.
“He hasn’t flagged it straight away so I think we are okay,” Lampard said after the game, as quoted by Goal’s Nizaar Kinsella.
