Lampard reveals why he dropped Kepa against Wolves

Chelsea manager Frank Lampard made two changes to the Chelsea team that was beaten by champions Liverpool during the week, with Kepa and Willian making way for Willy Caballero and Christian Pulisic.

Explaining his decision to drop Kepa for the game against Wolves, Lampard said: “It’s just a choice. Kepa has had some difficult times so I’m playing Willy.”

Asked about the threat of Wolves, Lampard added: “This is two teams who want to win the game.

“They’ve had a very good season and whether they qualify for the Europa League or not, they’ve had two good seasons now.

“They are a great team, fantastically well managed so we have to be ready for the best Wolves.”
