The future of Erling Haaland continues to be one of the hottest topics of debate ahead of the summer transfer window.
The Borussia Dortmund striker is one of the most sought-after players in world football after a fantastic 18-month spell in the Bundesliga, with Chelsea among a number of clubs understood to be interested in signing the 20-year-old.
Chelsea’s Premier League rivals Manchester United and Manchester City are among the other clubs reported to be interested in signing Haaland.
However, the European giants Paris Saint-Germain and Real Madrid are also thought to hold a serious interest in the Norwegian international, who scored another two goals for Dortmund today against FC Koln.
That took his tally to 39 goals in 36 games for club and country this season, with fans of the interested clubs all hoping that they will be his next destination.
And the social media activity of Haaland’s father Alfie has got Chelsea fans talking, with some Blues supporters believing they may have spotted a clue after the former Leeds and Manchester City midfielder started following the west London club on Instagram.
This comes after Chelsea owner Roman Abramovich spoke out in a rare interview about his time at the club and his aims for the Blues, who are busy preparing for an FA Cup quarter-final against Sheffield United today.
