REVEALED: What Lampard thinks of Kante’s decision to stay away from training

Chelsea midfielder N’Golo Kante has opted to stay away from training due to concerns for his health in the current pandemic.

The World Cup winner attended training on Tuesday but is now training at home.

According to Daily Mail, Chelsea boss Frank Lampard is supportive of Kante’s decision to stay away from training due to concerns for his health amid the coronavirus pandemic.

Lampard faces the possibility of seeing out the rest of the season without Kante, who is an important player in his squad.

However, Kante has made 18 appearances in the Premier League this season with three goals to his name.

The 29-year-old will continue to complete home workout sessions during the period he stays away from the training ground.
