Tammy Abraham rejects new Chelsea contract. Here’s why

According to Daily Mirror, Chelsea striker Tammy Abraham has rejected the latest contract offer from the club.

The report claims the 22 year old striker is looking for parity with the club’s other stars before committing his future to the club.

Callum Hudson-Odoi agreed a new contract with Chelsea last September which was worth an estimated £180,000-a-week and Abraham is determined to hold out for a deal around that level.

Abraham has scored 15 goals for Chelsea this season and has two years left to run on his current contract.

He has struggled for fitness of late with an ankle problem and is expected to miss Sunday’s Premier League clash against Everton at Stamford Bridge.
