Transfer expert confirms Chelsea will “spend big again”
Chelsea had what can only be described as an insane transfer window in terms of players arriving this summer.
It was easily one of the best in the clubs history, and Frank Lampard was totally backed. If we were to pick faults it would only be that we didn’t manage to sell on some of the deadwood and fringe players, but that will come.
All of Chelsea’s new signings have made an instant impact and done well so far, especially in the last 5 or 6 matches. So you’d imagine that the squad will not be seeing too many more high profile arrivals for a while, right?
Wrong! According to transfer expert Fabrizio Romano, who was talking on The Blue View Podcast yesterday.
Romano believes that once the situation with Covid-19 goes back to some more normality, Chelsea will spend big again!
But he does reiterate that this only happens if we return to some normality. But he says Roman Abramovich wants to spend more, and wants to spend big!
