£200,000-a-week French-star announces ‘it is a dream’ after officially signed with Chelsea
According to latest reports, French defender Wesley Fofana has admitted it is a dream after completing his summer move to Chelsea
After a number of defenders departed the club at the beginning of the summer transfer window – Thomas Tuchel has made it is mission to add to his backline over the past few months
Kalidou Koulibaly arrived earlier in the summer and so did Marc Cucurella – but that has not been enough, and Tuchel made it his mission to sign Fofana from Leicester City – no matter the cost
And after months and months of speculation – the Frenchman finally completed his move to Stamford Bridge this week on a deal worth £70 million – and wages worth a reported £200,000-a-week
On completing his move to ChelseaFC, Wesley Fofana told the club’s official website: “The two last days have been really big days for me and I’m very happy.
“I trained this morning with the team and it’s a dream for me. I’m very excited to start playing games for the fans and the club.
“I’m here win trophies – the Champions League, Premier League, FA Cup, Carabao Cup, everything. I came here to win and the club is built to win trophies so I’m here to continue that.”
