28-goal star ‘wants to complete’ box-office move to Chelsea!
According to latest reports, Inter Milan star Lautaro Martinez keen to join CHELSEA this summer transfer window
It is believed that incoming boss Mauricio Pochettino will look to add another striker to the attack this summer – as he has been promised by Ted Boehly that there will be funds available to sign the players he wants
And that has led to suggestions that Lautaro Martinez is a man that the club are very interested in signing over the next few months.
Now the Football Insider has claimed that Martinez is keen to complete a box-office summer move to Chelsea as Mauricio Pochettino ramps up his interest.
Martinez has let it be known to those close to him, sources say, that he would be open and keen to speak to clubs this summer, especially those in the English Premier league and is certainly attracted by a potential move to Stamford Bridge.
Man City legend Sergio Aguero recently backed the striker to thrive in the Premier League – he was quoted on the Metro: ‘A forward of the stature of Lautaro can play in the best leagues in the world,’ said the former Manchester City forward.
‘And of course he would do very well in the Premier League. He has talent and goalscoring ability and I think he would adapt very well to the English league.’
Owen Hargreaves has recently told the likes of CHELSEA that Martinez is a fabulous player.
Hargreaves recently said: “He’s (Martinez) a fabulous player. The way he leads the line reminds me a bit of Carlos Tevez. How aggressive he is, but he’s got a great touch, always running forward.
“Martinez has been fantastic. What a fabulous player! He can press, is a good finisher, and has good link-up play.
‘He literally gives you everything you need from a centre-forward.”
